Bengals Open as Favorites Over Raiders

Talk about a tale of two weeks.

The Cincinnati Bengals are three-point favorites in Week 15 against the Oakland Raiders, which is a stunning turnaround considering the Bengals were 14-point underdogs against the Los Angeles Chargers the week prior.

Alas, it’s a three-point line for now with Oakland coming to town, per Odds Shark. Keep in mind the spread against the Chargers grew to 16 points right before kickoff, so this one is still bound to change.

In fact, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Raiders favored by kickoff this weekend. The Bengals showed some better fight last week, but Raiders quarterback Derek Carr has played some great ball in recent weeks.

Injuries don’t help the outlook, as the Bengals could still be without someone as critical as left tackle Cordy Glenn. Those Raiders made plenty of headway in all areas while taking down the Pittsburgh Steelers last week.

Either way, this will look like a game between two struggling teams with eight wins between them in Week 15. At this point, the Bengals are a trendy team to pick against because of some of the effort displayed in recent weeks, not to mention the 16-person injured reserve list.
